In February of 2007
John and Margie traveled to India.
In New Delhi they exhibited their art and presented at CeC & CaC, the
Carnival of e-Creativity and
Change Agents Conclave.
The conference is presented annually by the
Academy of Electronic Arts
in partership with the
India International Center.
Jaipur to exhibit and present
digital art workshops at
Banasthali-Vidyapith University.
There they were hosted by
wonderful faculty and students.
They met folks in a nearby
village and traveled to a venerable temple of worship in the Tonk desert.
Back in Jaipur they photographed wood block printing on fabric and toured a papermaking factory.
Next they flew to Ahmadabad where they taught as visiting professors
at
the National Institute of Design.
There on the New Media Campus in Gandhinagar, they worked with NID graduate students and faculty.
Upon returning to Delhi, they
presented at the Pumpkin
Academy of Digital Arts,
finishing nearly a month
of
teaching and photograhy!
