We spent a lovely day in the Muzha Tea Plantation area in the mountains near our university. Clair Chang, Chair of the English Department at National Chengchi University took us to her family's tea plantation.

A day out with UNCP Provost Harrington, UNCP Vice Chancellor of
International Studies Alex Chen, his friend Georgia, CYCU Professor Gary Chin
(who took the pictures you see here) and our guide who led us
DOOOOOOOOOOOOWN into the Fushing gorge - which took at least 1/2 hour.
At the bottom, we crossed the river on a metal foot bridge.
Then, we turned right back around and, after several hours, reached the top.
On that day, we visited many towns, drank millet wine, ate fried bees and
wonderful Aboriginal food and saw many, many, many statues of
Chiang Kai-Shek all in one memorial park!
